Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's two-day visit to Gujarat has been postponed by a day and he will now come to review the coastal and border security arrangements in the state on September 10 and 11, a BSF official said here today.

"Instead of September 9 and 10, the Union Minister will be here on September 10 and 11. He will visit the BSF camp in Kutch," the Border Security Force official said.

The Gujarat government had earlier announced that Singh was scheduled to visit the state on September 9 and 10.

However, as per the revised schedule, Singh would first visit the coastal town of Porbandar on Wednesday, where the Indian Navy has recently announced to build a full-fledged naval base.

The next day (Thursday), he would visit the BSF camp near Lakhi Nala Creek in Kutch to review the border security arrangements, the official said.
