Home Minister Rajnath Singh will address a series of election meetings in Kerala for two days beginning tomorrow.

Singh, a senior BJP leader, will campaign for party candidates in Chathannoor and Kunnathur in Kollam district, Attingal, Nedumangad and Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvanthapuram.

Election to the 140-member Kerala Assembly will be held on May 16. BJP has fielded 97 candidates to contest the polls.

BJP today set up a three-member committee to look into "growing atrocities" against Dalit women in Kerala and its members will be visiting the families of victims in the coming days.

A Dalit woman, who was a law student, was raped and murdered on April 28 in the state, leading to a sharp attack against the ruling UDF by BJP.
