Terming the youth as the future of the country, ace shooter and new BJP entrant Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today asked them to participate in the election instead of being "escapist or scornful towards politics".
"Youth is termed as the future of the country and if this youth would not realize its importance and contribute to create a deserving leadership, how safe will the future be," Rathore said while interacting with youngsters who would be voting for the first time in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Rathore was interacting with the youngsters at a workshop organised by the youth wing of the BJP Jodhpur district unit.

"There are 45 crore youth in the country today and if this youth realizes his or her role in deciding who will be their leader, this country will be what it is not today," said Rathore.
Without naming anyone, Rathore suggested that Narendra Modi is the leader of the future who has a vision for the country. He advised the youth to cast their votes keeping in mind the leadership and vision of the party.
Commenting about the practice of announcing freebies during elections, Rathore said the voters should decide whether they want a leadership making them capable and self respectful or one who gives you everything free of cost and make you dependent.
When asked by a youth that politics is a dirty proposition, Rathore said that here the role of the youth multiplies.
"Being a citizen of this country, it is your duty to take this filth out of the politics," he said.
