Raksha Bandhan celebrated in Rajasthan with traditional fervor

Festival of brother-sister bond Raksha Bandhan was today celebrated with much fervor in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje tied 'rakhi' to ministers Rajendra Rathore, Yunus Khan, Arun Chaturvedi, MLA Ashok Parnami and parliamentary secretary Om Prakash Hudla.

The chief minister also tied 'rakhis' to Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC)

commandoes posted at her residence.

Also, a group of girls from an NGO, SOS Children's Villages, tied 'rakhi' to the chief minister who in return tied the sacred thread on their wrists and gave them gifts.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation today gave free travel facility to female passengers in its buses on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
