Tata group firm Rallis India today reported 16 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 25.49 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 on lower sales.
Its net profit stood at Rs 30.35 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income from operations declined to Rs 389.47 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 400.76 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, Rallis India said in a filing to the BSE.

Rallis India, a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals, is present in the farm inputs businesses such as seeds and agro-chemicals. It has manufacturing plants at 4 locations.
The company's 2,300 distributors reach more than 40,000 retail counters across the country covering more than 80 per cent of India's districts.
