A rally commemorating the 30 months rule of the Virbhadra Singh government in Una district will be organised on June 25, state Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said today.
"Various innovative schemes aimed at welfare of all sections of the society with a special emphasis on vulnerable sections would be projected at the rally," he said.
The minister informed that cabinet ministers, party MLAS, chairpersons, vice chairpersons of different government boards, corporations and leaders of various frontal organization of the party would participate in the rally.
He said that an exhibition based on the achievements of the Himachal government would also be organised on the occasion.
Another exhibition of photographs based on life of the Chief Minister would be an added attraction at the function, he said.
The minister informed that a 45-minute short film 'Icon of the Era' on the life of Virbhadra Singh would be released by Tibetan Spiritual head, the Dalai Lama on June 22.
This film is an audio-visual documentation of the history of more than 5,000-year-old erstwhile princely state of Bushahr, dating back to the Treta Yug and connects it to the life and achievements of its current descendant-Raja Virbhadra Singh, Agnihotri said.
The film has been researched and produced by Dr Suneela Sharma, he added.
