"Trade activities with Pakistan should be enhanced," he said while inspecting a new international integrated check post at Attari/Wagah border.
After the inspection, Ramachandran held meeting with senior officials of BSF, Customs, immigration and other related departments to get first hand information about the hardship faced by Indian traders during trade with Pakistan.
The minister also visited several BSF pickets located on the international border and inspected the flood lights installed for night vigil.
