Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today condemned the terror attack on Amarnath yatris in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, in which seven persons were killed and several others injured.

"I strongly condemn the attack on Amarnath Yatris. It is a heinous act done by Pakistan-supported terrorists. It is a cowardly and shameful act by terrorists on innocent and unarmed pilgrims," Singh said in a statement today.

He expressed condolences to the kin of the deceased.

The Chief Minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, the release added.

Terrorists yesterday killed seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, and injured 19 others as they struck at a bus in Kashmir's Anantnag district, in the worst attack on the annual pilgrimage since the year 2001.
