Enterprise software provider Ramco Systems has offered Payroll software capability to Iraq, Yemen and Morocco as part of expanding its operations in the region.
With this, Human Capital Management (HCM) with Payroll becomes tax compliant for Middle East, ASEAN and other major parts of Africa, the Chennai-based company said in a statement.
The offer by Ramco Systems comes in the backdrop of the difficulties faced by various companies in managing Payroll and complying with local statutory needs, it said.

3rd unit of Vallur power plant starts commercial operation * The third unit of 500 mw at Vallur power plant, jointly set up NTPC and Tamil Nadu government, has started commercial operation.
"The Unit-III of 500 MW of Vallur Thermal Power Project of NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy (NTECL), a JV of NTPC and TANGEDCO, is declared on commercial operation from February 26," NTPC said in a filing to the BSE.
With this, the total commercial capacity of Vallur Thermal Power Project is 1500 mw, while that of NTPC is 43,143 mw, the company said.
NTPC and state electricity board Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company (TANGEDCO) formed a joint venture to form NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy Company which has three 500 mw units.
Tamil Nadu is the major beneficiary of power generated from this facility, while some of it is supplied to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry.

Anand ties up with German co Liqui Moly for auto products * Auto component maker Anand today said it has tied up with German firm Liqui Moly for automotive chemicals, including motor oils.
The German company wants to expand its reach and gain significant market share in India and to attain this goal the company has joined forces with Ansysco, an Anand automotive group company.
"Anand Group and Liqui Moly partnership for motor oils and additives along with car care products, service products will certainly help Anand to expand its product range in India," Anand Group President - Aftermarket and Business Group III Mahendra Goyal said in a statement.
