Software product company Ramco Systems today said it signed a deal with Norske Skogindustrier ASA Cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) integrated with asset management and financials for its ANZ region for an undisclosed amount.
The Chennai-based firm company will replace the existing EAM and Financials with Ramco ERP on Cloud of Norske Skog Australasia, a Norske Skogindustrier subsidiary, across the Australia and New Zealand region.
Norske Skog is one of the world's largest producers of publication paper and its subsidiary has three mills in the ANZ region with an annual production capacity of 715,000 tonnes of newsprint and magazine grades.

Norske Skog Australasia was using legacy enterprise solutions for its Financial and Asset Management requirements that were due for upgrade, Ramco said in a statement.
The firm decided to look for a technology solution built on a modern cloud based architecture to address its present and future IT needs, it added.
Ramco's solutions will give senior executives cloud-based tools that will help them to optimise existing assets, improve financial performance and provide greater visibility for decision-making include planning for future needs, all accessible via the cloud on mobile devices.
