"There is loot of Jal, Jungle and Jameen (water, forest and land) in Jharkhand, blocking the progress of the state. Along with the Centre, the state should also take effective steps to curb corruption," he told reporters here.
Claiming that Jharkhand had enormous mineral resources that could give the state 50 per cent of USA's GDP and put it among the progressive states in the country, he said coal resources alone could fetch Rs 300 lakh crore.
Terming Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as an honest individual, Ramdev said he should take strong steps to control corruption.
Just a month away from his August 9 anti-corruption agitation, the yoga guru said CBI, CAG and Election Commission, other independent bodies, besides the Supreme Court Chief Justice, the government and the opposition could curb 90 per cent of corruption in the country.
"The rest 10 per cent should be curbed by inculcating moral values among the people," he added.
Ramdev, however, refused to be drawn into comments on the Presidential election issue saying it was an important post and should not be commented upon.
