Akshay Yadav, son of Samajwadi Party's national general secretary Ramgopal Yadav, today filed his nomination papers from the Firozabad Lok Sabha seat.
Yadav, who filed three sets of nomination papers, was accompanied by senior party leaders and local legislators at the EC office.
Meanwhile, a case has been lodged against BJP nominee S P Singh Baghel as he reached to file his papers in a procession, official sources said.
Congress candidate Atul Chaturvedi also filed his nomination papers from the seat.
