Ramkumar, Myneni advance at Premjit Lall Tourney

Indian Davis Cupper and top seed Ramkumar Ramanathan had an easy outing as he downed Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in straight sets to make it to the semi-final of the Premjit Lall Invitational tournament at BTA courts here today.

Ramanathan beat Jeevan 6-3 6-3 and will now take on Vijay Sundar Prasanth in the last four clash.

A fit-again Saketh Myneni, who was out of action because of a foot injury, also showed fine recovery to defeat doubles specialist Vishnu Vardhan 6-3 6-3.

Myneni will face second seed Sriram Balaji, who blanked Sasikumar Mukund of Tamil Nadu 6-0 6-0.

Prasanth faced a stiff resistance from Siddharth Rawat before pulling off 6-3 1-6 6-1 victory en route to the the last-four in the Rs 1.05 lakh prize money event.
