After a hiccup at the first leg, Rana dished out an impressive show of rally driving by overtaking Amanpreet Ahluwalia who surprised everyone by taking the lead at the end of the first leg.

Rana finished the leg with a timing of 3 hours 13 minutes 43 seconds, exactly four minutes faster than Amanpreet who clocked 3 hours 17 minutes 43 seconds.

In the two wheeler extreme category, it was a one man show. Austrian biker Helmut finished at the top after clocking 3 hours 9 minutes 59 seconds, ahead of Indian biking star C S Santosh who finished at the second spot in 3 hours 19 minutes 04 seconds.

The second leg of the rally is considered as one of the most gruelling as it traversed through some of the most rocky and topsy-turvy hilly roads. This leg also witnessed the breakdown of three cars in the adventure category.
