Private sector lender Yes Bank today said RBI has approved re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as MD and CEO of the bank.
"Pursuant to approval of the Board of Directors and the approval of Shareholders at the 11th AGM held on June 6 2015, Yes Bank has received approval from RBI for re-appointment of Rana Kapoor as MD & CEO for a period of three years," the bank said in a statement.
It said the reappointment of Kapoor will come into effect from September 1, 2015.
Yes Bank shares jumped 8.08 per at the close of business at Rs 679.95 apiece on BSE today.
