Senior National Conference leader and MLC Devendra Singh Rana was today re-elected unopposed as the party's Jammu provincial president.
In his capacity as Returning Officer for the elections, Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Planning and Development Ajay Kumar Sadhotra declared Rana elected unopposed as the Provincial President at a function held at the party headquarters here.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana took "obstructionists" head on for politicising the issue of creation of administrative units, and said the National Conference will not allow their designs to succeed.
He described 2014 as the year of National Conference and exuded confidence that the party would establish its credentials by registering massive victory in the parliamentary and assembly elections.
