All the promises the AINRC held out in the poll manifesto last year remained only on paper as no step had been taken to implement them, Rangasamy alleged.
He said Congress would launch agitations here and expose the "shortcomings and infirmities in the administration."
"We will wait for three months and in case no positive response is forthcoming from the government, agitations would be held in every nook and corner," Narayanasamy said.
He was speaking at a function to welcome Congress and INTUC workers from Karnataka carrying the 'Rajiv Gandhi torch' proceeding to Sriperumbudur to pay homage at the memorial of the former Prime Minister on the occasion of his 21st death anniversary tomorrow.
The team from Karnataka, led by its PCC General Secretary S S Prakasam, later left for Sriperumbudur.
