Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy owns movable assets worth Rs 14.30 lakh which includes cash in hand of Rs 75,000.
He has immovable assets whose current approximate market value is Rs 29,38,74,640.
Immovable properties, include agricultural land, non-agricultural land, residential house and commercial buildings. He has liabilities to the tune of Rs 80,000.
In his affidavit filed today along with his nomination for the May 16 Assembly polls, he has stated he owns a gold ring weighing 12 grams which is valued at Rs 25,000 and a pearl chain weighing 12 gms (Rs 25,000).
He owns three cars and two motor cycles.
As per the affidavit, he has no bank deposits or any investments in bonds, debentures, shares in companies or mutual funds.
Rangasamy is seeking election from the Indira Nagar constituency.
