Ranjith all set for World University Archery meet

Ace archer Mudderaboina Ranjith Kumar, a Tata Archery Academy (TAA) cadet, is all set to represent the country at the World Universities Archery Championship scheduled in Poland from July 2 to 5.

Hailing Kumar's selection for the Championship, Tata Steel Chief Guest Relations and Sports Farzan Heerjee said: "We are extremely proud and happy for Kumar as we believe that he is very deserving of this honour. His determination and hard work is inspirational to all other athletes.

Kumar joined the TAA in 2011. He won a bronze in the Junior National Archery Championship 2014 and a silver medal at the All India Inter Universities in 2013.
 

He is currently being coached by Dharmendra Tiwary and Purnima Mahato of the TAA.
