Ranveer parries question on doing 'Padmavati'

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh today chose to stay mum on doing filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film "Padmavati".

Gossip mills are abuzz that actor Hrithik Roshan would now be part of "Padmavati".

Reportedly, Ranveer who was to essay the role of Allauddin Khilji in the movie had asked for a narration from the "Bajirao Mastani" director after Shahid Kapoor was roped in to play Deepika Padukone's husband in the film.

Asked about "Padmavati", Ranveer said, "Tumhare muh mein schezwan chutney" (Schezwan chutney in your mouth).

Even the host interrupted saying "not this question".

Prodded further, Ranveer said, "Lot of hard work has gone into this ad film (referring to the Chings ad-film) and it's looking good."
 

Ranveer will be seen next Aditya Chopra's "Befikre" opposite Vaani Kapoor. The movie is slated to hit the screens on December 9 this year.
