Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been diagnosed with a case of dengue fever and is currently admitted in a suburban hospital.
The 28-year-old actor contracted an infection and high fever during the shoot in Durgapur, West Bengal of Ali Abbas Zafar directed film "Gunday", which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor.
Despite being ill, Ranveer continued shooting according to the schedule, as he did not want to cause any inconvenience and loss to the production.

On his return to Mumbai he was diagnosed with dengue, according to a statement.
Hospital sources were surprised that the actor continued to work despite his severe condition.
"It is not-yet-known how long Ranveer will stay in the hospital and be back in action. But he is in a very positive state of mind as usual," a source said.
