Rao seeks Singapore's help for Telangana development

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today sought the help of Singapore in the "reconstruction" of the new State.

Rao had a meeting with Singapore's former Premier Goh Tok Chong here, according to an official release.

The Chief Minister shared the details of his recent visit to the Southeast Asian nation, a major global commercial hub which saw rapid economic growth in the last few decades, with the visiting dignitary.

The visit was inspirational, the release quoted Rao as having told the former prime minister.

Rao told Goh that his Government is investment and industrial-friendly and sought the city-State's help in "reconstruction" and development of Telangana, it added.
