Bollywood actors, Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor, today termed as "unfortunate and shameful" the rape of a woman in a radio taxi cab in Delhi by the driver and asked the government to take responsibility and ensure stern legal action against the guilty.
"We generally talk of woman equality and respect in the society, but we just talk, and no solid action is ensured by the government," the actors, who were here for promotion of their movie Tewar, told a press conference.

He said it was ridiculous that the cab driver was employed by a noted car rental company despite his very bad character and involvement in crimes, reported earlier.
Kapoor said cinema was a mirror of the society, and there were many things to be learned by youngsters.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha termed as most unfortunate and shameful the rape by the cab driver.
She said society should know how to respect women and asked the girls to be strong enough and try to not to be dependent on men.
Asked about woman working as 'Makeup-man' a new introduction in the Bollywood, she said, I don't know whose idea was it that there should only be man as 'makeup-man'.
She felt confident saying her tour from Dabang to Tewar was very satisfactory and thrilling.
