Rapper Bankroll Fresh shot dead at recording studio in Atlanta

Up-and-coming rapper Bankroll Fresh was killed in a shooting.

The 28-year-old was reportedly shot last night outside of a recording studio, and later died at a local hospital, reported People magazine.

Atlanta police confirmed that they were called to the studio where they noticed "a large crowd of people fleeing."

Police found over 50 shell casings inside and outside the Street Execs Studios, which is located in Northwest Atlanta.

"Shortly after units arrived, it was learned that at least one victim was shot and was transported away from the scene in an unknown vehicle. They also confirmed that the victim died of his gunshot wounds at Hughes Spalding hospital," the police said.
 

Rapper Lil Wayne took to Twitter to mourn the death of the Atlanta-area rapper.

"We lost a good one. Rest peacefully lil homie Bankroll u gon always be family," he wrote.
