Rapper LL Cool J to host Grammys for fourth time

Rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J will host the upcoming 57th Grammy Awards, making his fourth consecutive year as the event's emcee.

The Awards will broadcast live on February 8 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS, reported CBS News.

"I'm thrilled to again be part of music's biggest night. The performances and moments you see on the Grammy stage are nothing less than amazing throughout the years and this year's show is shaping up to be one you will never forget," Cool J, 47, said in a statement.

Beyonce, Pharrell Williams and Smith lead the pack of nominees this year with six nods each, including album of the year.
 

Iggy Azalea, Beck, Eric Church, engineer Tom Coyne, Drake, Gordon Goodwin, Jay Z, Miranda Lambert, Sia, Usher and Jack White have bagged four nominations each.

The event will feature performers AC/DC, Eric Church, Common, Ariana Grande, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Usher and Williams.
