Ras Al Khaimah Tourism signs pact with TUI India

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has entered into a partnership with leisure travel firm TUI India to promote and enhance its presence in the Indian market.

The agreement includes promotion of the emirate by TUI India Pvt Ltd through specially created itineraries, promotions on its consumer website and campaigns, RAKTDA said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, RAKTDA CEO Haitham Mattar said: "India is one of the top source markets for us, we are aiming to enhance strategic efforts to drive awareness across India through our dynamic marketing campaigns and relationships with key partners in the public and private sectors."
 

India is ranked as the emirate's fourth largest international source market, the statement said.

"Ras Al Khaimah is quickly becoming a leading choice for Indian travellers of all ages. We will focus on creating attractive packages and aggressive promotion of the destination through right mix of media channels," TUI India Pvt Ltd CEO Vishal Sinha said.

Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates.

Established in May 2011, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority mandate is to develop the emirate's tourism infrastructure and establish Ras Al Khaimah as a leading destination for leisure and business travel.

The authority has a government mandate to license, regulate and monitor the emirate's tourism and hospitality industry.
