Rathore inspects JLN Stadium ahead of India's WV opener

Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today took stock of security arrangements at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) stadium here, ahead of the much-awaited Under-17 World Cup, commencing here tomorrow.

A sports ministry official said Rathore was satisfied with all the arrangements.

Colombia will take on Ghana in the tournament-opener while hosts India will lock horns with the USA in the second match of the day

The FIFA U-17 World Cup, being hosted in India for the first time, will conclude on October 28. The matches will be played at six different spruced-up venues.
