RattanIndia Power today posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 227.28 crore for the quarter ending on March 31, 2016, against a loss of Rs 223.60 crore in the same period last year.
Total income jumped to Rs 1,012.21 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 156.46 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, the company said in a BSE filing.
The Group's net loss after taxes and minority interest narrowed to Rs 190.93 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 663.98 crore loss for the year ended March 31, 2015.
Total income increased from Rs 686.48 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015 to Rs 2,915.87 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
