Coimbatore-based Adwaith Lakshmi Industries Managing Director Ravi Sam has been elected as the Chairman of Tamil Nadu State Council of industry body CII for 2014-15.
"The name was announced at the first meeting of the reconstituted Tamil Nadu State Council held here yesterday," a CII release said.
Sam was serving the industry body as its Vice-Chairman. He is a member of CII Southern region council and had also served as CII Coimbatore Zone, Chairman, it said.
Swaminathan Eisenhower, serving as the Director-Operations of glass manufacturer Saint Gobain, has been elected as CII-Tamil Nadu Council Vice-Chairman, it added.
