Delhi Golf Club saw over 125 amateur golfers vie for a place in the SilverGlades Delhi team that will represent the country's original Golf's IPL version - the Louis Philippe Cup. These players will be playing alongside professionals Rashid Khan, Shamim Khan and Himmat Singh Rai.
The club qualifiers held at Delhi Golf Club today is the one of the 20 amateur qualifying rounds to be held in the nine participating cities across India -- Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Chandigarh and Greater Noida.
Braving the chilly weather, Delhi's enthusiastic amateur golfers teed-off for a chance to be Rashid Khan, Shamim Khan and Himmat Singh Rai's team-mate and play alongside India's top pro golfers on the first two days of the Louis Philippe Cup for the Pro-Am Title.
The second edition of Louis Philippe Cup is scheduled to commence from February 11th to 16th at the Jaypee Greens Golf resort with a prize money of Rs. 1.20 crore.
