Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat today expanded his ministry by appointing 15 Ministers of State, eunuch leader Rajni Rawat being one of them.
Rawat said his decision to give charges to 36 party leaders after his meeting with Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee chief Kishore Upadhyay.
Among them 15 have been appointed as ministers and rest of them will be assigned soon, he said.
Rawat made it clear that all the new charges were given only after the approval of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
Meanwhile, eunuch leader Rajni Rawat was appointed as the vice-chairperson of State Commission for Women.
