Back from solving the riddle in the Sphinx hub as Kakababu, Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee has said he can't fill in Sabyasachi Chakraborty's slot as Feluda, in the upcoming Sandip Ray film Badsahi Angti based on his father Satyajit Ray's popular children's novel on the ageless Bengali sleuth.

"If Abir can fill the slot I have my wishes for him. I have wishes for anybody, I also swooned on Benuda's (Sabyasachi) portrayal as Feluda in the last few films. But I think I will not be the right person to step in Feluda's shoes, don't know why. But I believe I can't look like Feluda before the Bengali audience," Prosenjit told PTI.

He was asked whether he did not count on himself as a strong contender for Feluda's role with Sandip Ray not keen on retaining Sabyasachi for his next project despite the 'Arjun' actor asserting he had no qualms at n 'Remembering Satyajit Ray' on the 92nd birth anniversary of the maestro organized by Big FM.

"It is not a question of ageing only. It is not a question of any yawning age difference between Feluda and his assistant Topshe. It is not a question of my image turning the stumbling factor to look like Feluda on screen. It is more about Prosenjit not suiting the role for all obvious reasons. I don't feel like," Prosenjit said.

"As I had told you earlier, I am eager to wrap up shooting for Badshahi Angti, one of my most ambitious projects with the backdrop of Lucknow, by end phase of 2014 so that the movie can be released later on. ," Sandip had said on the sidelines of the fm event before the screening of the film Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne.
