Teenager Rayaan Razmi and former Asian champion Yasin Merchant qualified for the main draw of the BSAM Maharashtra State Senior Snooker Selection (leg-2) Championship on Wednesday.
Rayaan potted fluently to outshine Sagar Patne of Thane and cruised to a 3-0 (53-12, 62-29 and 73-47) victory in the best-of-5-frame encounter to qualify for the main draw round-robin league.
The fancied Yasin also had things much his own was and, with a small break of 32 in the first frame, went outclass Yogesh Kute 3-0 (81(32)-22, 64-58, 67-13).
Siddhesh Mulay of Chiplun and Yogesh Sharma of Pune also booked their places in the main draw.
