Solar solutions provider Rays Power Experts today said it has bagged a contract worth Rs 28 crore from state-run SJVN to set up a 5 MW solar plant in Gujarat.
"Rays Power Experts has won turnkey EPC project worth Rs 28 crore from SJVN to execute a 5 MW solar plant at Gujarat solar park," the company said in a statement.
Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) is a Mini Ratna company under Ministry of Power and a Joint Venture of the Centre and Himachal Pradesh government.

Rays Power is expected to commission the plant by March 31 next year. It would also carry out operations and maintenance of the project for five years.
The company recently bagged a 50 MW solar power project in Tamil Nadu from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC). The company already has presence in states like Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
