The Reserve Bank has cancelled licences of two Kolkata-based non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
"RBI cancels certificate of registration of S B Overseas Pvt Limited and Odyssey Dealcom Pvt Limited," the apex bank said in a notification.
RBI said it cancelled the certificate of registration of these NBFCs for carrying on the business of non-banking financial institution.
"Following cancellation of registration certificate, the company cannot transact the business of non-banking financial institution," it added.
