State-owned Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) today posted 71 per cent drop in its standalone net profit to Rs 17.92 crore in the third quarter of the 2017-18 fiscal.
Its net profit stood at Rs 61.85 crore in the same quarter of the last financial year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Net income rose to Rs 2,006.57 crore in the October- December period of this fiscal from Rs 1,701.72 crore in the year-ago period.
Expenses remained higher at Rs 1,915.74 crore as against Rs 1,627.54 crore in the said period.
