RCom hires ex-Hutchison executive for global products biz

Telecom operator Reliance Communications today announced the appointment of Braham Singh as Senior Vice President to manage global product portfolio across its Indian enterprise division and submarine cable business arm Global Cloud Xchange.

Singh will also manage the company's national long distance and data center businesses, Reliance Communications said in a statement.

"With his deep industry experience and impressive track record, Braham will further elevate our strategy and ability to innovate, bringing our customers best in class products and services to further support their growth ambitions," Reliance Communications Chief Executive Officer (Enterprise and GCX), Bill Barney said.

Singh has over 30 years of experience in telecom sector and before joining Reliance Communications, he was vice President and senior advisor for international business at Hutchison Global Communications.
 

Prior to HGC, Singh has worked as CEO of Malaysian government funded firm Red Snapper that works to promote wireless broadband in the country.

He has worked at various senior positions with Hutchison AT&T, Sprint International, Global One and Teleglobe International.
