Announcing plans to invest around Rs 150 crore in the current fiscal to expand its reach in the Indian market, Reach Mobile, a part of Rashmi Group, today said it will soon set up a manufacturing facility in the country.
"We have plans to invest over Rs 150 crore across the country to expand our network pan India. We want to reach each and every part of the country," Vinay Kumar, president of Rashmi Group and Kinjal Desai, Head, Corporate Affairs told reporters here.
Reach Mobile was planning to expand its horizon at pan India level to reach out to 500-plus towns and over 50,000 retailers and across international boundaries, Kumar said.

Stating that the company would give adequate attention to marketing and advertising, Desai said around Rs 90 crore would be spent for expansion of branches, infrastructure and manpower improvement.
In 2015-16, Reach Mobile plans to introduce path-breaking technology across different categories of handsets and also introduce mobile accessories, Kumar said.
Reach Klassy 300 and Reach Klassy 400 would set a new trend in user experience while keeping the pocket pinch considerably low. Reach Klassy 300 HD has 5 inch HD screen with IPS panel, which makes visuals vivid and full of life.
Klassy 300 HD was also blended with some unique features like Smart Gestures, Smart Wake-up, Hot Knot gesture, Voice gesture camera, Print-through-phone and OTG (On-The-Go) where one can attach pen drive as well, they said.
Klassy 400 HD have 5 inch HD screen with IPS and OGS display gives higher uniform clarity. The smartphone was full to capacity with 1.2 GHz quad core cortex A7 processor, 1 GB RAM fully loaded with updated Android v4.4.2 (kitkat).
The handset has 8 MP back and 3.2 MP front camera. The 2400 mAH battery provides long battery life while internal storage memory expandable upto 64 GB.
"The response which Reach Mobile has received in a year's time since its launch, is very encouraging. We could successfully introduce 50 models of handsets in the national market catering to all usage segments - Feature Phone, Touch Phone, Smart Phone and now HD phones," said Kumar.
On Odisha, he said currently Reach Mobile has 15 distributors reaching out to over 1,000 retail points.
"We would be investing Rs ten crore in manpower, infrastructure, marketing and advertising to enhance our market share in Odisha," he added.
