Press Trust of India Coimbatore
: Balaji Swami, Head of ISV/ Embedded Sales, Red Hat Asia Pacific region, has expressed concern over reading taking a back seat in the technology dominated era.

In his address to the 7th Founders day Dynamix-2016 of Camford International School here last night, he said students now learn either by experimenting and learning, replicating another individual's success and avoiding mistakes they have made.

"In this era dominated by technology, reading has taken a back seat and we also learn by observing others," he said.

The school recognized its students and staff for their exemplary performance, during the occasion.

Students of class 1 to 9 and class 11 who excelled in academics were awarded proficiency certificates, while those of class 10 and 12 who achieved the highest academic accolades in the last academic year in the CBSE examination were also formally felicitated by school chairman, N Arul Ramesh.
