PMK, an ally of BJP-led NDA in Tamil Nadu,today said it was ready to have alliance with all parties barring DMK and AIADMK for the assembly polls next year and if DMDK was willing to join the combine, it would be welcome.
"We are ready to have alliance with political parties except DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and if the DMDK comes to our alliance we are ready to welcome it," Anbumani Ramadoss, MP and PMK Youth Wing President told reporters here when asked if his party would allow the DMDK into a PMK-led alliance.
Ambumani also said if PMK was voted to power in 2016,it would immediately impose 'total prohibition in Tamil Nadu.'
To another question, he said,"We are still in BJP alliance at all India level and if the BJP is willing to support PMK in Tamil Nadu, they will have alliance in Tamil Nadu also with them."
He was taking part in the PMK's district general council meeting in which party state president G.K. Mani also participated.
