A total of 40 sovereigns of jewels and Rs 30,000 in cash were reportedly stolen from a house here last night, police said.
The robbery came to light when the realtor Krishnakumar's wife woke up this morning and found the front door of the house broken open, they said.
Then, she found the valuables missing from an almirah. Her husband's two-wheeler, which was parked in the compound, was also stolen, the police added. Based on a complaint, the police are on the lookout for the culprits.
