Actor and film editor Frank Mazzola, who appeared in Hollywood classics like James Dean-starrer 'Rebel Without A Cause' and romance drama 'Casablanca', has died at the age of 79.

Mazzola, who had Alzheimer's, went missing for four days in June in LA. He was found later with the help of police and his wife Catherine Hader, reported Deadline.

The actor, born in 1935, found his first starring role at the age of four in 'The Hunchback Of Notre Dame'. His father was a contract player at Fox Studios.

The actor's second role came in Humphrey Bogart- Ingrid Bergman's romance classic 'Casablanca'. He was just seven when he landed the role.

He played the role of Crunch in 'Rebel Without A Cause'. He was also a technical adviser on the 1955 film.

The film is the most celebrated work in Dean's three-film-old career, which was cut short by the star's tragic death in a car accident at the age of 24.

Mazzola was also involved in the production of Hitchcock's 'Psycho' and Stanley Kubrick's 'Spartacus'. He later turned to film editing.
