Vikas Nanda and his driver Vicky were arrested for the murder of Vikas's wife Harpreet Kaur (26) who was found dead this morning by her mother Kamaljit Kaur, police said.

According to the police, the duo had given Harpreet celphos tablets, a packet of which was found at the scene, and made it look like a suicide.

Vikas was a travel agent who ran an immigration services office in Phillaur. Harpreet worked there and both developed a relationship and got married a fortnight back.
