Recruitment to fill up to 1,500 posts of drivers soon: Hry

In order to meet the shortage of staff in state's transport department, Haryana government today announced that it will conduct a recruitment process to fill up to 1,500 posts of drivers, 930 conductors and 951 technical staff on regular basis.

"300 new buses would also be inducted into the fleet of transport department in the next two months, for which the purchase process was in the final phase, Haryana Transport minister, Krishan Lal Panwar said here.

He said the target has been fixed to increase the number of buses in the Department's fleet to 5,000 by March next year.

Approving the demand for the payment of pending bonus and uniform allowance of the employees at the earliest, Panwar directed the senior officers of the department to take necessary steps regarding their other demands.
