RedDoorz raises pre-Series A funding from 500 Startups

RedDoorz today said it has raised pre-Series A funding from 500 Startups to intensify its expansion plans in the South East Asia region.

It, however, did not disclose the funding amount.

RedDoorz, which has previously raised funding from Jungle Ventures, provides budget hotel owners access to expert advice and assistance to standardise their offering and directly distribute online.

IIFL reduces home loan rates to 9.55 per cent * Mortgage lender India Infoline Housing Finance today said it has reduced its home loan rates to 9.55 per cent from 9.65 per cent, with immediate effect.

The new rates are applicable for home loan ticket size of up to Rs 2 crore.
 

The company has also reduced the processing fee to Rs 5,000.

NSCCL rated 'CCR AAA' for eighth consecutive year * National Securities Clearing Corporation Ltd (NSCCL), an arm of stock exchange NSE, has got the highest corporate credit rating of 'CCR AAA' from Crisil for the eighth consecutive year.

The rating indicates that NSCCL's ability with regard to honouring debt obligations.

"NSCCL's risk management system is comprehensive and is regularly upgraded to pre-empt market failures," a NSE statement quoting Crisil said.
India Post opens exclusive counters for eBay

* India Post has opened an exclusive counters at the business post centres in Gurgaon and Faridabad for eBay India sellers.

"The counter for eBay sellers at Gurgaon and Faridabad business post center will be exclusive for them to send their products through speed post, registered post or any other service they wish to opt for in both the cities," India Post Master General Gurgaon and Faridabad Umesh Verma said in a statement.

Starting today, eBay sellers can dispatch both domestic and international parcels from eBay's special counter at Phase-V, UdyogVihar in Gurgaon and NIT Faridabad Post Office, eBay said in a statement.

BEE inks pact to promote energy efficiency * Green Business Certification, Inc and Bureau of Energy Efficiency have entered into a pact to promote and implement government's energy efficiency programmes and policies in the building sector.

"Today, Green Business Certification, Inc. (GBCI) and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Ministry of Power, Government of India signed a landmark agreement with the goal of spurring energy efficiency progress in building sectors," a press release said.

* Global consulting firm Accenture today said Kelly Bissell will join the company to lead Accenture Security.

Bissell, who has over 25 years of security industry experience, specialises in breach incident response, identity management, privacy and data protection, secure software development and cyber risk management.

In his new role, Bissell will run Accenture's security business across all industries, Accenture said in a statement.

ProcMart raises pre-series A funding from IndiaMART * ProcMart, a quotation-based B2B marketplace, today said it has raised its second round of funding from IndiaMART.

ProcMart, which at present operates in NCR and Maharashtra region, is already working with companies like LG, Religare, Harman International and Coca-Cola.

"ProcMart would invest their finances in creating a robust technology. They would also be expanding their presence across all tier-I cities in the coming few months," the company said in a statement.

iShippo.Com partners with Textile Ministry * iShippo.Com, an online marketplace for handcrafted products has partnered Development Commissioner Handloom of the Ministry of Textiles.

Under this partnership, iShippo will educate, train and empower weavers to directly sell their products on the iShippo.Com online portal, iShippo said in a statement today.

The partnership allows iShippo.Com to engage with weavers in Bagalkot and other clusters in the state of Karnataka, it added.

Ramco bags deal from Danube Group

* IT firm Ramco Systems today said Middle-East based Danube Group will use its technology platform to automate and integrate HR operations for more than 2,500 employees in Middle East, Africa and India markets.

Ramco HCM on Cloud will provide solutions pertaining to various HR functions including Core HR, Talent Management, Recruitment, Leave & Time Management and Payroll, it said in a statement.
