Young Indian driver Tarun Reddy will race in the all new MSA Formula 4 Championship to be held in the United Kingdom from this weekend.

Reddy will join Double R Racing, team led by Anthony 'Boyo' Hieatt, for the FIA certified championship.

The series will be contested over 30 races as the single-seater support series to the UK's premier motorsport package, the British Touring Car Championship. It includes top British teams, Carlin motorsport and Fortec motorsport.

Reddy, who missed crucial testing time due to exams, participated in 3 championships in 2014, including being crowned MRF 1600 Champion in India's leading domestic single-seater series.

He also participated in the Formula Renault Protyre championship in the UK, finishing on the podium thrice.

Reddy is excited to get back behind the wheel of a race car and is cautiously optimistic heading into his first race this weekend.

"While the other drivers have been pounding around the track getting more comfortable with the car, I have been stuck behind my books. Boyo has been instrumental in helping a lot of successful racers so am really looking forward to working with this team. The goal is to win from the get-go, and with the experience and resources the team holds I am sure this is very possible," said Reddy.
