Refined palmolein prices declined at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on lower retail offtake despite higher Malaysian cues.
In non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also moved down on reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil continued a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 590 from Friday's closing level of Rs 595. Groundnut oil were unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,925 from Rs 3,950 and castor oil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 815 as against Rs 820 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 840 per 10 kg.
