Refined palmolein prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to reduced demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped due to subdued demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein fell by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 565 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 570.
However, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold declined by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 4,250 from Rs 4,300 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 880 as against Rs 890 yesterday. Linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 740 per 10 kg, respectively.
