Refined palmolein prices dropped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on reduced demand from retailers amid lower Malaysian cues.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled stable following lack of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped due to subdued demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible section, refined palmolein declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 522 from Wednesday's close of Rs 533.
However, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 965 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,300 from Rs 4,325 and castor oil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 890 from Rs 895.
Linseeds closed unaltered at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
