In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial prices also ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
While, linseed oil prices advanced due to sustained demand from paint and allied industries.
In futures, castorseeds recovered modestly on fresh export enquiries.
In the edible section, Refined palmolein edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 516 from Monday's closing level of Rs 518. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,185 per 10 kg.
Turning to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial closed unaltered at Rs 3,475 per 100 kg and Rs 725 per 10 kg respectively. However, linseed oil gained by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 820 as against Rs 815 yesterday.
Moving to futures,Castorseed December resumed higher at Rs 3,676 and moved in a range of Rs 3,696 and Rs 3,649 before ending at Rs 3,675 as compared to Rs 3,665 previously. showing a gain of Rs 10 per tonne.
